For our signature experiences, the Bruny Island Wild Long Lunch and Channel Adventure Cruise, we depart from either Kettering, Tasmania, or Barnes Bay, Bruny Island, suiting both visitors to Southern Tasmania or overnight visitors to Bruny Island.

We can also arrange car transport from Hobart to Kettering for an additional fee. For custom, enquiry-based experiences, we're happy to discuss alternative pickup locations to suit your group.

We bring you directly to Bruny Island on our 8 passenger commercial vessel, which means no car needed and no ferry queues. In peak season, ferry times can skyrocket to hours, making this service invaluable, especially for daytrippers.

The boat journey itself is a beautiful part of the experience, with opportunities to see wildlife and explore waters around North Bruny's northern coastline.

For bespoke, custom, or larger group experiences, we work on an enquiry-only basis so we can understand what you're after and make sure we're the right fit for your group. Our maritime experiences take up to 8 guests on the boat. For land-based tours using our buses, we can accommodate larger groups up to 39 people. Group size affects which experiences work best, so we'll talk through options when you enquire.

Our Bruny Island Wild Long Lunch starts at $500pp.

Our standalone Channel Adventure Cruise is $1,600 flat rate, for up to 8 guests.

Dress for conditions on the water - it's always colder out there than on land. Bring wet weather gear and very warm layers, even if the forecast looks mild. We recommend clothing you can layer up or peel off as needed. Wear shoes that are stable and easy to walk in, preferably closed toed and even water resistant. For colder months, scarves and gloves definitely help!

Children are welcome, though we find our signature Long Lunch experience isn't ideal for young kids - it's a 6 hour day with extended water time and a sit-down dining component. We think 5 is about the youngest age that would appreciate the day. That said, every family knows their children best, and we're happy to discuss options that might work better for your group. We can create bespoke adventures tailored to families, with activities and timing that suit younger passengers.

For any water-based experience, please dress children warmly (it's always colder on the water) and feel free to get in touch before booking to talk through weather conditions and what the day will look like with kids onboard.

We work hard to make our boat experiences accessible where we can. Kettering Marina and Barnes Bay have floating jetties that are easily accessible for most people who are able to walk - getting on and off the boat is straightforward at these locations. We're unable to accommodate wheelchairs, but if you have mobility considerations and can walk, these departure points work well.

Our cancellation policy depends on the type of experience you've booked.

For our private charters (the Bruny Island Wild Long Lunch, Channel Adventure Cruise, and bespoke bookings), payment is taken in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, you'll receive a full refund more than 14 days before departure, 50% within 8–14 days, and 20% within 7 days or less. Because we reserve the whole vessel, crew, and provisions exclusively for your group, these amounts reflect the costs we incur regardless of whether you travel. We'll always try to reschedule you first rather than cancel outright, so get in touch as early as you can.

For our limited scheduled sailings (sold per seat rather than as a full charter), you'll receive a full refund more than 48 hours before departure, 50% within 24–48 hours, and no refund inside 24 hours.

If you can't reach us due to a documented travel disruption (a cancelled flight, ferry, or road closure), we'll refund you in full, regardless of timing, once we've seen the evidence.

If we need to cancel or reschedule your experience, whether due to weather, mechanical issues, crew availability, or a scheduled sailing not reaching minimum numbers, we'll always offer you a full refund or an alternative date.
