Bruny Island Wild is a valued local partner, bringing together fresh Tasmanian food, relaxed island hospitality and memorable events at Dennes Point. Overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, its architect-designed venue includes a café, event space and a wood-fired oven—the heart of its popular wood-fired pizza experiences and cooking activities. For smaller, more exclusive gatherings, we partner with Marefold; acclaimed Tasmanian Chef Simon Ford and his wife Nicola offering bespoke private-chef and catering experiences. Marefold brings refined, personalised dining to your chosen setting, creating beautifully prepared food and thoughtful menus for intimate celebrations and private occasions. For these experiences, we also help source exceptional local venues, from secluded coastal settings to distinctive island spaces, ensuring every event feels personal, effortless and unforgettable.
For guests wanting to add a restorative wellness element to their event, we can arrange a private hire with Bruny Island Sauna Co. Their wood-fired mobile sauna creates a warm, relaxed space for guests to slow down, reconnect and enjoy the island’s natural setting. Ideal for intimate celebrations, weddings, retreats or special occasions, a private sauna session offers a memorable and distinctly Bruny way to unwind together
When you’re looking to bring art and creativity into an occasion, we can arrange a private exhibition viewing at bruny NORTH, a curated gallery and creative space attached to Bruny Island Wild, led by renowned creative Virginia Dowzer.
With a rotating program of contemporary exhibitions, each visit offers a fresh opportunity to experience the work of Tasmanian and visiting artists in an intimate setting. bruny NORTH also hosts artist talks, residencies and creative workshops, with a particularly vibrant workshop program during October; making it an inspiring addition to private celebrations, retreats and tailored Bruny Island events.

Yes, we design fully custom private experiences on Bruny Island, shaped around your group, your occasion and what you'd most like to see. Our signature experiences are a starting point, but we regularly build days from scratch for celebrations, events and groups who want something of their own.

We can shape experiences for anything from a small intimate group, to larger groups up to 80. Our boat carries up to 8 guests, and our land transport fleet supports those larger groups with multiple buses.

Yes, we help with weddings, corporate days, milestone celebrations and other gatherings on Bruny, including guest transport, venue and location scouting, and sourcing local service providers. As locals, we can connect you with the people and places that make an event feel truly Bruny.

Our departure points are flexible, but to avoid ferry queues, especially in peak season, we like to meet at Oyster Cove Marina in Kettering, about 30 minutes south of Hobart - and etiher walk you onto the ferry, or bring you across via boat. Depending on your group size and your preference, we can also arrange pickup in Hobart.
Guests already on Bruny Island can be catered to as well.
