Bruny Island Wild
Long Lunch

your Bruny day trip, without the car and ferry fuss

Start your experience from Kettering with an adventure cruise through the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and up into the mouth of the Derwent River, with a pass by Tasmania's first lighthouse at Iron Pot or a spin down toward the iconic Neck for a unique perspective.

Following your water experience, the heart of the day is lunch at Bruny Island Wild, an architecturally designed space perched on the water's edge in Dennes Point on Bruny’s northernmost point. You’ll feast on a four-course seasonal long-table lunch featuring ingredients sourced from the island and surrounding region, with a menu designed just for you.

Afterward, you'll have time to view exhibitions at bruny NORTH gallery and explore the beaches and coastlines of North Bruny.

Departing from Kettering, with transport available from Hobart for an additional fee.

If you’re already staying on Bruny Island, no problem - we can start the adventure at Barnes Bay!

Journey through the D'Entrecasteaux Channel; the sheltered waterway connecting Bruny to mainland Tasmania, down south to the famous Neck, and/or up north into the mouth of the Derwent where Tasmania's first lighthouse has stood sentinel at Iron Pot since 1832.

You'll take in coastal perspectives that explain why this stretch of coastline shaped Tasmania's story, and see the island's geography from an angle most people never get. Ideal for guests staying on Bruny or groups of visitors to Southern Tasmania who want a unique, private maritime experience.
